Weddings photographed the way your family actually celebrates
South Asian weddings aren't a single event — they're days of colour, music, rituals and a hundred small moments happening at once. I photograph holud, mehndi, sangeet, baraat, the ceremony and the reception with the same care: the laughter during holud prep, the details of the decor, the emotions nobody staged.
Based in Montreal, I shoot Bengali, Indian and Pakistani weddings across the city — and I understand the flow of these days because I've lived them, not just photographed them.
What's covered
- Holud & mehndi — candid, colourful, full of movement
- Sangeet — performances, family dances, the energy of the night
- Baraat — the procession, the dhol, the arrival
- Ceremony — nikah, pheras, or Anand Karaj, documented respectfully and unobtrusively
- Reception — portraits, speeches, first dance, the party
- Getting-ready portraits — outfits, jewellery, details before the rush
Multi-day coverage, one photographer
Most of my South Asian wedding bookings span 2–4 days. You deal with one photographer throughout — I learn your family's faces, your schedule, and which moments matter most to you. No handoffs, no strangers on the wedding day.
Montreal venues I know well
From banquet halls in Brossard and Laval to downtown hotels and outdoor summer venues — if your venue is in the Greater Montreal Area, I've probably shot in similar light there. Tell me your venue and I'll share relevant work.
Common questions
Do you shoot both Bengali and Indian/Pakistani weddings?
Yes — holud, mehndi, sangeet, nikah, pheras, Anand Karaj. If your family blends traditions, even better; just walk me through the schedule beforehand.
How far in advance should we book?
South Asian wedding dates — especially summer Saturdays — book 6–12 months out. If your date is sooner, ask anyway; I keep a short waitlist.
Do you offer videography too?
Yes — photo and video can be booked together so one team covers everything, or photo-only if you prefer.
Can our parents talk to you before booking?
Absolutely — and they often do. I'm happy to meet the family, in person or on a call, before you decide.
